Humphris Honey

Bee keeper handling a swarm of bees.

When the team came across a swarm of bees, they immediately researched the British Beekeepers Association and used google lens to identify that they were in fact honeybees.

A local beekeeper was contacted and within the hour, Richard had safely captured the queen and placed her into a temporary holding box, to entice the rest of the swarm to join her in. Three days later they were safely removed and taken away to be transferred into a hive.

The hive will be called the Humphris hive, and the first three batches of honey will be donated to Humphris next year along with a certificate.
